A social experiment ensued…
I left a commercially-successful company I co-founded to follow a calling, traveling the world sharing a spoken word prose HUMANIFESTO, reminding others of something that I had forgotten for most of my life - that we each possess power & peace in our truest authentic nature...the "gold that resides inside". As a tanglble gift to world, I tied golden threads on thousands of wrists in his travels in 11 countries during 2016, asking all the exact same question. The remarkable result? No two answers the same, each their own unique fingerprint expression in the world.

I desired for men to wear the feeling
I traveled the world to find the most ethical, sublimely soft, durable, breathable, stretchable, super-natural fibers and fabrics. I discovered Regenerative Beech Tree Fibers in Lenzing Austria, and the most benevolent cotton from California family-owned farms. We knit outside of Los Angeles, and we can our One Golden Thread fabric… TREESILK tm.
As a first-time clothing designer at age 51, I followed my heart, and designed what I couldn't find: Function Fashion with Feeling. And over 108,000 garments sold, and the same amount of trees planted, we stand for Human Nature, better together, as one golden thread.

Jeff birthed an obsession to create ethically-cozy clothes that support every one to look and feel as good as you truly are. Since we are nature, to wear Nature. To feel golden. From one regenerative Beech Tree, we hand-craft 108+ articles of clothing. For every purchase, we plant a tree through NGO reforestation partner One Tree Planted. Thus the impact back to nature is 108x. One Golden Thread is a registered Public Benefit Company wherein social good is at the core of its give-back impact model.

One Golden Thread began as Jeff’s calling to share an important reminder: despite curve balls our human condition throws at us, we are each golden inside, and this simple truth is what connects us together as a golden thread.
Over the course of eight years, thousands of golden threads were tied on “strangers no more” wrists, as Jeff shared his condensed learned wisdom from 1000’s of hours of workshops, loveshops, mountaintops, sitting with plants, which congealed into a spoken word Humanifesto.
Through this organic movement, Jeff sought first to design what I always wanted and couldn’t find — the quintessential men’s fashion tee. Elongating to flatter and stand taller, arm-hugging sleeves, a neckline to flatter that part of male anatomy that gets overlooked, finished with plenty of raw edges (just like life).
Now One Golden Thread offers a full collection of lovestyle elementals designed with a healthy Earth in mind, with fabric and colors fit for life instead of seasons, “unisexy” for every body positive, styled for effortless ease, super-natureally cozy.
